GENERAL COMMENTS
A careful and informative account the Armenian community of Manchester, especially the Holy Trinity Armenian Church of Manchester on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of its consecration. Correspondence/imprimaturs appear at the beginning of the book: Pg. 3: Message from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II; Pg. 5: Message from the Rt Revd Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, Primate and Pontifical Legate; Pg. 6: Message from The Rt Revd Dr David Walker, Bishop of Manchester. Before moving to "The Founding of the Manchester Armenian Community" in Ch. 5 on pg. 19, the author offers a succinct history of the Armenian people until that point. The book then covers the history of the Armenians of Manchester, including Ch. 10 "The Clergy who Have Served the Parish" on pg. 35 and pictures of many of them. There are "Acknowledgments and Thanks" (Ch. 12, pg. 41) and a "Further Reading" page (Ch. 14, pg. 42). On page 44, Ch. 14, "Selected Artefacts of the Holy Trinity Armenian Church of Manchester," "Artefacts curated by Hovhannes Takukyan and Artur Bobikyan," the only short section in (Eastern) Armenian in the book appears, a preface to the catalogue (Երկու Խոսք). "Including a catalogue of selected artefacts from the Church, curated by Artur Bobikyan and Hovhannes Takukyan." There is no official date of publication given, but the correspondence at the beginning of the book are all dated 2020, which is the year of the 150th anniversary.
