GENERAL COMMENTS
Introductory teaching on the Bible and "how to read the Bible." Prepared by V. Rev. Fr. Garegin Hambartsumyan, former Dean of the Gevorkian Seminary of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin under the auspices of the "Preaching Center of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin." Small folded and stapled 8-page pamphlet. Sections include, "What is the Bible?", "Who Wrote the Bible?", "What Does the Bible Tell About?", "How to Start to Read the Bible?", "Pray Before Reading!", and "What Else is Necessary to Know Before Starting to Read the Bible?" After wishing, "Good reading," the pamphlet concludes with "an explanation of a few select words" from the Bible (Jesus, Christ, Penance/Reconciliation, Yehova, and Salvation. It suggests "biblesociety.am" to read the Bible, the "Daily Worship" app, the daily liturgical readings of the Bible in Classical Armenian at "www.arak29.am/breviary" and gives the email "missionmothersee@gmail.com" to contact for additional questions.
