Magazine with a variety of topics but with a decidedly 'revolutionary' and assyrian-aramean united focus
GENERAL COMMENTS
alternative motto on inside : ܪܢܝܐ ܚܐܪܐ.
"Free thought : the sound of the youth and the nuqqosho of the future of our people in the countries of the captivity [gallutho]"
Partly in CS [5 pages, handwritten; in Arabic [7], in Italian [1], in German [1+12], in Swedish [5], Turkish [27]
One copy: December 1996, no 2 – perhaps the 2nd issue [cf. letter on p. 40]
Very few names and quite a few pseudonyms in the magazine; perhaps it was primarily meant for Suryoye in Turkey rather than in Europe (despite its European base).
Introduction in CS (a bit difficult to read because of handwriting), probably same as in Turkish at the other end; seems to explain why this journal
Also meant as a ‘Jugendzeitschrift’, to further the unity of the people, inform the youth about important issues;
Revolutionary language, about unity, fighting for the homeland, doing it better than the elders:
Looks like the Turkish part includes similar text, more extensive and with more pictures.
Both sides of the magazine have the map of BethNahrin; one part has images probably of the same event (with a mix of Assyrian and Syriac imagery and colors), the other side has a (European) image of the Holy Birth, wishing everyone (in Syriac, French, Turkish, German, English and Arabic) Happy Christmas.
Note that the website Aršiv Suryoyo (https://mardutho.com/renyo-hiro/index.html) has the fist copy of Renyo Hiro dated to 1997 (without an actual copy).
