CONTENT DESCRIPTION
Magazine with a variety of topics, focused at the Aramean party of the Suryoye community mostly in Germany; seems to have a relatively 'learned' interest in books and other publications.

GENERAL COMMENTS
One copy in my collection: 13th year, iss. 35, Nov-Dec 2001 (which means that the first issue probably was published in 1988). The current copy has German (35), Turkish (5) and (Classical) Syriac pages (17) (total 58; some double language). Magazine of the Aramaic Federation in Germany (FASD); according to the colophon of the issue Nov-Dec 2001 13/35 there had been a fresh start a year ago, with a new editorial board: “In diesem Jahr haben wir es geschafft, dass dieses schon fast in Vergessenheit geratene Organ der Föderation wieder in aller Munde ist.” As indicated in the caption, a mix of religious, political, cultural and linguistic matters. Note the interesting bookpages [34-35] which advertise a mix of books from various presses, Aramaic/Syriac and other, gorgiaspress, Hans-Jürgen Maurer, Syriac press in Istanbul, Bar-Hebräus Verlag, Tur-Abdin Verlag – which all most all can be ordered via Mardutho D-Suryoye.
