CONTENT DESCRIPTION
Trilingual liturgy book according to St. Basil the Great. This is one of the earliest Liturgy books published by the Coptic community in the Netherlands.

GENERAL COMMENTS
The book was prepared by deacon Atef Beshay, first-generation Dutch Copt. The book is in three languages, Dutch, Arabic and Coptic, where Arabic (in the book referred to as 'Egyptian language') and Coptic were transcribed so that both generations of the community can follow the liturgy. Bishop Anba Arseny (then Father Arsanios el Baramousy) gave advice on the correct pronunciation and transcription of the Coptic text and other members of the community participated in translation and correction of different parts of the book.
