GENERAL COMMENTS
The Coptic title probably has a spelling mistake, where a superfluous "ⲓ" (iota) was added in the word for synaxarion (most common and correct form would be: ⲥⲩⲛⲁⲝⲁⲣⲓⲟⲛ).
The Synaxarion is one of the most important books in the Coptic tradition, since it contains memorabilia/remembrances of Coptic saints and martyrs for each day of the Coptic year, as well as different Church-related events, arranged according to their anniversaries.
