CONTENT DESCRIPTION
The book tells the life story and martyrdom of Saint Mina (Menas). The author focuses on the miracles of St. Mina, for which he is well known and venerated in the Coptic Orthodox Church. There are different accounts and examples of St. Mina's miracles presented in this book.

GENERAL COMMENTS
Photos inside the book were presented by Nabil Tadros and Mina Sabry. We can also find information and images from the monastery of St. Mina, founded by the late Pope Kyrillos VI, who venerated St. Mina as his personal patron saint. The Monastery contains the relics of St. Mina and represents an important pilgrimage center, not only among the Copts but also among other Christian denominations. More information on the front cover: According to the author, St. Mina is here depicted with Egyptian features (compared to the usual depiction with rather 'Western' features) and is illustrated with two camels (animals that attacked him, according to the legend), three crowns above his head (triple crown - celibacy, asceticism and martyrdom), the key of life ('ankh), illustration of a flask that allegedly belonged to the saint, rays of light sent by 'Ra' and in the background we can see St. Mina Cathedral in Mariout. St. Mina is also known as "St. Mina the Wonderworker".
