CONTENT DESCRIPTION
This book tells the story of the Coptic Orthodox Church in the Netherlands - since its very beginnings until today. It includes a short biography of Bishop Arseny, his first encounters with the country, establishment of first churches and follows the development of the Church and the community.

GENERAL COMMENTS
In the author's words, the book represents a testimony of God's work and miracles for enabling the service and establishment of the Coptic Church in the Netherlands. With its numerous photos depicting the developments and history of the Church, this book serves as a collective memory for each member of the Dutch Coptic community, which is now almost 40 years old. Bishop Arseny illustrates the difficulties on his journey and of those who followed him en route to setting up a community and preserving Coptic faith in a new country.
