GENERAL COMMENTS
Monthly bulletin of the Armenian Catholic Eparchy in France, Holy Cross Cathedral in Paris. News and information about and for Armenian Catholics in France.
The Eparchy of France of the Patriarchal Armenian Catholic Church numbers about 30,000 faithful and seven parishes. The Eparchy is headquartered from the Holy Cross Cathedral in Paris, which publishes the magazine.
The current monthly magazine began in 1995 after a hiatus from the earlier magazine, which began publication in 1958.
From the website of the Eparchy of France: " "The Armenian Church" which started to be published since 1958 with 2500 copies, being interrupted for several years. For a while , this newspaper being quarterly , was also published the monthly newspaper called "Our Parish" which after 125 copies has stopped being published in order to be united with the previous newspaper which since September 1995 is being published as a monthly newspaper. This monthly newspaper forms a strong tie with our Armenian people in France.
Each year, a diocesan calendar is also published" (http://www.armeniancatholic.org/archives/inside4694.html?lang=en&page_id=306).
The issue photographed is No. 259 (new series) from June 2017.
