CONTENT DESCRIPTION
This small bilingual booklet explains the story of the Holy Shroud of Turin, believed to be the burial shroud in which Jesus was wrapped after his crucifixion. The booklet tells its history, discovery and how and where it has been conserved.
GENERAL COMMENTS
Even though there is no direct connection between the shroud and the Coptic Church, the Coptic community in northern Italy this way connects its geographical belonging to the wider sphere of Christianity.
